Applications for admission shall be made to The Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center, 227 West 22nd Street, Erie, PA  16502.  The Center’s social services department will assist the applicant and family in processing the necessary forms for admission.  All applicants for admission shall complete the required forms and provide the necessary information to determine eligibility.

Financial responsibilities

1. Applicants are asked to provide a verified financial disclosure at the time of admission for determining length of anticipated financial independence.

2. Should a resident become physically or mentally incapable of managing financial affairs, the Attorney-in-Fact or Responsible Party will be notified to ensure proper and uninterrupted attention to the residents’ finances

Waiting List

Applicants desiring admission are placed on a waiting list.  The date of application is considered, but individuals can be given priority for admission on the basis of need, as determined by the Center’s Medical Team and availability of accommodation.  Applicants have the option to refuse       vacancies offered without jeopardizing their position              on the waiting list.
