Construction Update

The addition to Sarah Reed’s Skilled Nursing building is moving along nicely.  Work in progress is pictured above.

A new “North Parking Lot” has been excavated at the north end of West 22nd street, near Myrtle.  Work on the lot continues.

For the building addition, concrete footings have been placed, and elevator pits have been formed and poured.  Plumbers and electricians are working on submittals for ducts and pipes.

Our property management committee has met with an interior designer to begin discussing color palettes, interior finishings, furnishings, and wall art and accessories.

We can’t wait to see the finished product which will include private resident rooms, country kitchens, and smaller nursing neighborhoods.  This is all so exciting for the current and future residents and staff of Sarah Reed!
